The D-Air 8 is a patented, fully automated deaerator engineered to tackle one of the biggest challenges in closed water systems – air.
Air is a primary cause of system corrosion, and according to Henry’s Law, the amount of dissolved air increases with pressure. The D-Air 8 solves this by taking system water under pressure and releasing it to atmosphere – allowing excess dissolved and entrained air to escape, just like opening a fizzy drink.
Through a series of special separation rings, air and water naturally separate before the multistage pump returns the deaerated water to the system. The D-Air 8 automatically controls water levels with level probes and features multiple fail-safes, including:
✅ Pressure switch to prevent over-pressurisation
✅ Non-return valve to stop backfilling
✅ Automatic shutdown on power failure, lack of water, or excess system pressure
